SUMMARY:Pursuing a Career in Academic Libraries: a Discussion with Human Resources Leaders
DESCRIPTION:TRLN invites students and recent graduates to join us for a panel discussion on finding\, pursuing\, and securing a job in an academic library. Human Resources professionals from Duke\, NC Central\, NC State\, and UNC-Chapel Hill libraries will share their insights on resumes\, cover letters\, interviews\, professional networking\, and practical experiences that can help you find a position that fits your interests\, skills\, and talents. We are offering two iterations of this webinar in order to accommodate various class and work schedules. The panel discussion will last approximately 60 minutes\, with an additional 30 minutes for questions and further discussion.   \n\n\n\nRegister for Thursday\, November 4\, 6:00-7:30 pm. Register for Monday\, November 8\, 12:00-1:30 pm. \n\n\n\nIf you are interested in particular topics or have specific questions for the panel\, please send them to events@trln.org.
