Copyright regulations and libraries: The CASE Act and how to make your voice heard

Wednesday, September 22, 2021 @ 4:00 pm 5:00 pm

The Library Copyright Institute, in cooperation with TRLN and ASERL, invites participation from librarians and archivists in a copyright regulations workshop on September 22, 2021 at 4:00 pm.

The workshop, “Copyright regulations and libraries: The CASE Act and how to make your voice heard” is aimed at helping librarians understand the copyright regulatory process and how they can help inform and shape those rules in the future. The focus of this session is in particular on recent proposed rules for a new copyright small claims system (the CASE Act) that affect libraries.

Register to receive the Zoom link. You may register for the workshop at any time.

The Library Copyright Institute is a project to develop a program of systematic, deep instruction in copyright law for librarians. The Institute is specifically targeted at training librarians at institutions with fewer resources and no copyright expert on staff.
